Introduction to the Job

We are looking for young talents who would like to build their career in Supply Chain. In the Norway Project Procurement team, you will be part of an energetic and multi-cultural workforce recognized for commercial results and drive for change. You will have the opportunity to manage your own portfolio of procurement packages, or specialize on specific types of packages (such as fabrication, Survey, Pre-commissioning, Subsea Intervention, etc.) where you bring your market knowledge and expertise to the projects. Working with multiple suppliers and connecting the market know-how to the project needs and using creativity to find solutions is going to be an exciting part of the job, in a dynamic industry.

You will be in charge of all activities related to third party supply within tenders and projects. Additionally you will ensure that all procurement tasks for TechnipFMC are provided in accordance with company approved standards. Our activities support vessels which are market pioneers in terms of subsea installations and services. Our global supply chain network will guarantee a strong career path.

In TechnipFMC you will be driving change, managing techno-commercial initiatives with support of technical and project teams and see the impact of your efforts on project bottom-line.

Job description
  • Navigate project procurement activities with target savings and initiatives
  • Good understanding of packages' cost drivers, supply market and ability to explain and give advice for decision making
  • Build benchmarks and target prices, navigate negotiations and follow-up of the procurement activities with the subcontractors
  • Connect project and supplier to reduce the cost by avoiding waste in the execution
  • Source and pre-qualify new suppliers for new types on project needs in accordance with Supplier Quality policy
  • Provide long term strategy, and establish frame agreements for subcontracting packages when applicable
  • Planning and forecasting of both progress and cost, reporting to management and client
  • Responsible for inquiries, bid clarification process, tender evaluation and selection of subcontractors
  • Subcontract administration, including reporting, invoice management, certificate handling and close-out formalization
  • Ensuring that all goods and services required are in place for vessel offshore operations
  • Responsible for booking of services on basis of Frame Agreements
You are meant for this job if you
  • Have a university degree in Supply Chain and Logistics, Engineering (B.Sc. / M.Sc.) or Business Administration (BA / MBA).
  • Preferably have 2-3 years of experience within engineering, supply chain or vessel operation, but we will also consider newly graduated
  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Have excellent team player skills
  • Are self-driven, good at analyzing a task, and planning required sub-tasks
