ABOUT THE JOB

Nordic Semiconductor´s R&D capacity is expanding and we are looking for an IC Technology Engineer to join our Technology Group as part of a team supporting our R&D development projects. The position offers exciting opportunities to work with world-leading wafer manufacturers, EDA-vendors and IP-providers to enable a smooth design flow for our SoC development teams. Your workday will be filled with several different tasks and challenges within nanoscale technology support, optimization of design flow methodology, scripting/programming, custom cell/library development, characterization and verification to name a few. 

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • M.Sc. in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or Engineering/Bachelor degree with experience 
  • Experience or knowledge in one or several of the following areas:
    • IC design-flow and methodology using advanced IC design-tools
    • Installation, setup and customization of IC design-kits
    • Device- and cell-level modeling
    • Chip- and cell-level ESD strategy and analysis
    • I/O-cell design
    • Wafer manufacturing and nanoscale semiconductor technology
    • Analog design, layout and physical verification
    • Digital design methodology and chip-level P&R
    • Script development in Python, Perl, Tcl or Skill
    • Good English communication skills, both written and spoken
