For a international client within oil and gass, Experis is seeking a Engineering Manager.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

Lead and coordinate the team of discipline engineers assigned to the project
Ensure technical quality in project execution
Detailed (input to) planning, execution, monitoring, controlling and corrective actions (if any) of the engineering activities (design and procurement)
Ensuring that the technical solutions comply with the contract specification for all documents
Managing the project engineering process in accordance with WO&GS management system and procedures
Promote environmentally friendly solutions
Advice the project engineers technically
Assist the project engineering to perform the discipline work and establish defined documentation within the man hour budget limits assigned by the PM
Ensuring that RFQs are based on correct technical documentation
Perform and supervise quality control of engineering documents, Purchase Requisition documents and Vendor documentation
Reporting progress on assigned work
Develop and execute the project Inspections and Test Plan (ITP)
Responsibility for the Yard Management (when/if applicable) and support commissioning
Ensuring that 3rd party verification is conducted
Be a single point of contact on technical communication towards the client (possibility to delegate if required)
Secure that all technical communication to/from suppliers must be informed (cc on mail)
Liaise with project Procurement and BU Application Owner.

Qualifications

Multi discipline engineering knowledge and understanding within:

• Process
• Electrical, Instrumentation, Automation
• Design
• Mechanical

Experience from onshore or offshore and relevant rules and regulations
Experience from different business phases:

• Studies
• Sales
• Engineering
• Testing
• Commissioning
• Start-up / Gas trials

Focus on technical and human safety
Gas Conditioning and Processing
Project Management training
Financial Management training
Experience from project discipline lead role
Experience with project planning and management
Very experienced in using excel
Advantage if fluent in Norwegian
Good English language skills, both verbally and in writing
Background or experience from ship/marine operations is beneficial
