SKOV is on a growth-journey! Therefore, they seek a manager for their mechanical development department and their test laboratory. You can take the mechanical department to the next level within development and materials. The department ensures part for SKOV’s ground-breaking ventilation systems that provide climate solutions and farm management for animal production worldwide.
Strong leader with visions
Due to the continuous growth, SKOV has decided to increase the capabilities of the mechanical development department by establishing a new position. The management has high ambitions and a vision to be the largest and most acknowledged partner within their industry.
As Mechanical Manager, you must have the will and ability to drive SKOV’s development of their product portfolio with innovative solutions. You will lead and further develop people and skills in the department. You want to work with state-of-art materials to achieve best practice in the industry and by working with the best of the best. A mechanical beacon!

Mechanical plastic development & design
Your background is technical with an engineering degree at least at B.sc level. You have proven results from a similar role in high-tech companies. Your experience most probably stems from projects with mechanical plastic development preferably from larger plastic components and the components utilized in harsh environments. You could also come from machine building or device manufacturing industry with focus on larger components. You have a natural interest in exploring new ways, materials and possibilities within mechanical engineering.
As a manager, you naturally engage with your employees providing the needed support. Professional sparring might be one of the tools in that toolbox. You are a “playing coach”. You lead by example and through personal skills. You believe in a structured approach to meet both internal and external deadlines. Your professional and technical knowledge base makes you a natural go-to person in the organisation. You easily interact with people at all levels from the technicians at the shop-floor to the executive level of the industry. As you will interact with a lot of both internal and external stakeholders ínterpersonal abilities are key and the ability to assess the situation right and then take the right decisions comes natural to you. As a person, you are curious and creative driving the will to explore possibilities and new solutions.
