Yxney Maritime develops software and conduct projects to increase fuel efficiency for offshore vessels. The vision of Yxney Maritime is to facilitate a sustainable maritime enterprise. The first step in that long-term goal is to increase efficiency, to save cost and emissions, in existing offshore operations. Data analytics is the core of our activities. Our main product is the cloud service; Maress, that has been adopted by some of the most advanced offshore vessel owners in the world. Maress tracks vessels around the world using a combination of live sensor data, public and private APIs and input data. Maress processes this data and visualizes the relevant information in an appealing way to users. In Maress we use Heroku and Github for our cloud services and development.
