G2 Ocean is now looking for a bright and forward leaning Group Accounting Manager who has the talent and passion to grow with us. The position is stationed at our headquarters in Bergen. The ideal candidate has a technology driven mindset and can work to develop, improve, digitalize and contribute to our high-performance team culture.

As a Group Accounting Manager you will have a critical role within the field of Accounting. Main tasks include preparation of monthly consolidated figures, tax calculation, monthly pool distribution, financial reporting from subsidiaries and branch offices and assuring the organization is provided with efficient accounting processes and systems.

• Monthly and annual consolidated figures 
• Monthly and annual financial statements for Norwegian entities
• Monthly pool distribution to owners
• Responsible for the Group’s reconciliation of all intercompany and related party balances
• Support the subsidiaries and branch offices with financial reporting and statutory accounts
• Responsible for the accounting system and chart of accounts
• Follow up the daily accounting entered by the Accounting Team in Manila, the Group’s shared service center
• Tax and VAT
• Staff responsibility
• Develop further best practice in the Accounting function in the Group
• Drive initiatives for optimization and digitalization in accounting and reporting
• Development and enhancement of accounting processes and  financial internal control procedures 
• Contribute to be a high performing team and be best in class
• Other ad hoc tasks

• Master’s in accounting and Auditing (or in Business Administration), preferable State Authorized Public Accountant 
• Three to five years of relevant experience from similar position or auditing
• Good knowledge of NGAAP, USGAAP/IFRS
• Sound knowledge with ERP and reporting systems, preferably Dynamics365 but not a must
• Fluency in English, written and spoken 
• Experience from an international working environment
• Some leadership experience is preferable
