Head Energy is looking for a Senior SAS Engineer

Head Energy is glad to offer the following contract position as Senior SAS Engineer

Job Description:

• SAS system responsible for selected process systems, and the generator package

• Technical basis for detail engineering of PCS Process Control System to be designed and documented

• FPSO solutions like turret systems, marine systems etc. to be developed and concluded

• Making SCDs, Cause Effect, SAS Functional specification, sequence specifications etc. for process, utilities and packages

• Specifications of communicated interfaces

• Establish hardware and software reports to the SAS supplier

• Contribute to HMI graphics production

• Contribute to alarm classification

• Creating Norwegian service descriptions for SAS

• Testing at mechanical/electrical package suppliers facilities (UFAT)

• Testing of SAS hardware and software at the SAS supplier& facilities

• Participating at design reviews, SCD reviews etc

• Meetings, discussions and cooperation with other disciplines, package vendors and EPCs

• Other SAS group work

Preferred knowledge/skills:

• Detailed knowledge of the PCS part of Safety and Automation Systems (SAS)

• Knowledge of PSD, Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) and SI

• Detailed knowledge of platform process and utilities

• Detailed knowledge of and experience with making System Control Diagrams (SCD), sequences and functional specifications

• Detailed knowledge of Norsok I-005 and Norsok function blocks

• Knowledge of communicated interfaces (Modbus, Profibus, Profinet)

• Good cooperation and coordination with other disciplines (e.g. Electro and Mechanical Package disciplines).

• Good knowledge of  NORSOK

• Ability to work independently and systematically in an international market

• Delivering results and meeting customer expectations

Education/Experience:

• Minimum 10 years working experience within the Oil and Gas industry

• Experience from FPSO projects

• Detailed knowledge of platform process and utilities

• Experience with mechanical packages and cooperation with package suppliers

• Experience with SAS simulator

• Experience with HMI graphics production

• Experience from Hazop, LOPA, design reviews and SCD reviews

• Relevant technical education
