Join a global and market leading logistics provider in an operational and commercial role as an Airfreight Operator for our International airfreight department in Kuehne + Nagel Norway. You will join a highly competent and driven airfreight team to build close relationships and provide excellent customer service to overseas agents, service providers and customers.

YOUR ROLE

In your role as Airfreight Operator you will have the end-to-end responsibility for coordination and handling of airfreight shipments within the Oil and Gas industry. Your role will be the focal point of contact between customers, overseas agents and suppliers of Kuehne + Nagel Norway. Reporting to the Airfreight Manager, the scope of the position is to deliver best-in-class customer service and operational excellence to both existing and new customers.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervising, handling and coordinating airfreight shipments
• Liaise and build close relationships with members of the team and with Kuehne + Nagel offices world-wide
• Act as primary contact between Kuehne + Nagel Norway and our customers and suppliers
• Register and coordinate assignments
• Planning of transportation
• Compile transport documentation
• Filing and Invoicing
• Monitor and administrate financial files

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience from a similar role within freight forwarding
• OGS operational system experience is an advantage
• Service minded and result-oriented
• Responsible and a 'can do' attitude
• Adaptable to a developing and changing work environment
• Preferably, aerospace experience and dangerous goods certification
• Dangerous good experience is an advantage
• Fluency in oral and written Norwegian and English is a prerequisite
