Frank's International AS are looking for Electrical Technician

Electrical Technician:

The Electrical Technician will be responsible for maintaining and servicing electrical and electronic equipment pertaining to Completions, completing all paperwork in accordance with the current QA maintenance program; organize and keep equipment maintenance and inspections up to date; keeping work area and yard clean and uncluttered.

Essential Duties & Accountabilities

Dismantle, adjust, and repair electronic equipment according to maintenance specifications and repair manuals.

Software upgrades.

Responsible for the completion of all maintenance service requests as assigned.

Loading and unloading of equipment. 

Operate forklifts as needed.

Complete all associated paperwork in accordance with company and industry policies and legislation.

Competent with both Norwegian and English reading and writing skills.

Qualification requirements:

Electrical / Electronic Qualification / Apprenticeship / Formal competence in Electrical / Electronics.

Experience with PLC system preferable

Experience with EX equipment

Experience with Norsok Z-015

Experience in oil field equipment maintenance preferred

Experience troubleshooting electrical problems/diagnosing and ability to repair issue(s)
