Kongsberg Maritime Riser & Wellhead Department recruiting project engineer (Asker Office)

The Kongsberg Riser & Wellhead business unit is recognized as a world leading engineering and consultancy service provider within analysis of SURF (Subsea Umbilicals, Riser & Flowlines) systems, power cables and design and commissioning of riser integrity monitoring solutions.

For this position, you should have at least 3-5 years experience with analysis of SURF systems using OrcaFlex or similar tools. You must have the ability to work independently and you are willing to walk the extra mile to find the best solution for the client. The size of our projects varies, in small projects you may be responsible for the full scope or in bigger projects, work in a team.

We also support marine operations with advanced real-time simulations and we provide offshore services worldwide where combination of offshore testing and analysis is used to document the integrity of flexible pipes. Thus, the position may encompass some offshore work or work outside Asker.

Your must have a MSc degree with strong academic background from areas like hydrodynamics, marine constructions or marine cybernetics.

We are in a new and modern office building in Asker with easy access both by car and by bus. If you prefer bus or train, the company offers a free non-stop shuttle bus services between the train station and the office between 07:00 and 09:00 in the morning and 15:00 and 17:00 in the afternoon.
