- Develop PR/media plans
- Be a Media spokesperson and ensure relevant spokesperson media training.
- Responsible for development and maintenance of editorial content on Vår Energi web page.
- Give input to external talking points and prepare presentations.
- Social media: Develop and implement Social Media plan.
- Media intelligence: Ensure up to date and timely media monitoring in relevant media channels, including Social Media and recommend media tactics and actions.
- In coordination with internal communication, contribute with relevant content for internal messaging.
- Emergency response: be part of the media response team.
- Ensure that existing procedures, processes and predefined communication material for use in Vår Energi are updated and in accordance with industry best practices.
- Minimum bachelor degree within relevant subject
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience; press releases, web page, strategic use of social media, emergency response and issues management.
About you:
- You have excellent writing and communication skills (Norwegian and English) and preferably a good understanding of the oil and gas industry and the political context.
- You are good at building relationships across the organization, in addition to being able to make long term plans and solve problems/issues that arise.
