This role will bring insight, to deeply understand the structural shifts in the North Sea aquaculture industry and provide insight for the future; join a successful, fast-growing and exciting international business with a strong culture and values.
Responsibilities:
•Map from the farm all the way to the ultimate consumer of salmon & trout, identifying key players at each stage of the value chain, market flows and profit pools.
•Map the consumer trends that will drive change & anticipate resulting alliances between customers, suppliers and other key industry players.
•Connect analysis of the market to influence the local business strategy with strategic marketing plans based on customer segmentation.
•Analyse the impact of changing regulatory frameworks and propose areas of focus.
•Bring a holistic cross-functional insight into the customer experience of doing business with Cargill.
•Collaborate with Strategic Marketing Managers to ensure strategic marketing plans address customer opportunities identified in the segmentation strategy.
You will:
•Be passionate about market analysis and customer-oriented.
•Be entrepreneurial with a proven track record of the ability to seek out hidden value.
•Demonstrate market experience, apply insights from market research to develop a go to market strategy, leveraging customer insight and innovation.
•Bring a bachelor’s degree in a business or food/agricultural discipline or equivalent experience in business.
•Communicate well in English and Norwegian (written, verbal)
•Demonstrate fact-based quantitative analytic skills, knowledge management and data integrity.
Will be nice if:
•You have experience or proven knowledge of the seafood business
•You have managed external resources to execute customer surveys and market insight work
•You have experience in market-focused management consulting or marketing consulting
•You have proved the ability to effectively collaborate, influence and lead change
•You have a master’s degree, preferably in Business, Business Administration, with a Marketing focus
•You speak other European languages
