Position Summary

Factory testing, software programming/configuration, site installation/commissioning and service of XSENS flow meter systems at offshore and onshore installations world-wide.

Area of responsibility

- Flow meter assembly, testing, installation, commissioning and service execution.

- Company on-site representative during flow meter installation, start-up and service.

- Reporting of in-house FAT, site installation/commissioning and service activities.

- Responsibility for own HSE compliance and product safety during customer site work.

- member of XSENS “Product team”: production – installation – service – improvement

Education /Qualifications:

- BSc or MSc within automation technology, electronics or cybernetics.

- Knowledge of multiphase flow and instrumentation

- Knowledge of Phyton, C++, Labview and/or Matlab programming is required.

- General oil field and instrumentation expertise

- Experience and understanding of industry/offshore operations and HSEQ requirements.

- Knowledge of relevant ISO/NORSOK standards

- 3 - 5 years relevant experience.

XSENS AS provide advanced clamp-on flow meters for complex flow and fluid conditions, primarily for the oil and gas industry. The patented non-invasive ultrasonic guided-wave technology offers significant cost reduction and increased reliability compared to traditional in-line flow measurement technology. In 2018 the XSENS product portfolio was launched through contracts for installation in the North Sea and the Middle East, both offshore and onshore. During 2019 subsea versions of the technology will be completed. XSENS AS expect significant market growth in the years to come within and beyond the oil and gas industry, enforced by achievement of the 2019 “Spotlight on New Technology” award at the global “Offshore Technology Conference” in Houston.
