Marine/HSEQ/Vetting Superintendents

OSM Maritime is experiencing significant growth within shuttle, VLCC, product and chemical segments and is therefore looking to strengthen the organisation with Marine -, HSEQ- and Vetting Superintendents. 

Duties and responsibilities

The Superintendent will be responsible for the safe and efficient marine operation of tanker - and shuttle tanker fleet. The work will be performed in close cooperation with the Vessel Manager and RMQA.

• Perform pre-vetting/TMSA
• Perform annual ISM/ISPS/MLC audits onboard
• Follow-up on relevant marine operation reportings
• Ensure good cooperation between vessel and onshore organization
• Ensure that the Company's objectives including HSE targets are met
• Communicate with Class and Flag State
• Take over of new vessels in management
• Be part of onshore Security Officer team

Qualifications

• Experience as Deck Officer or Marine/HSEQ/Vetting Superintendent from operation oil/product/chemical tankers.
• Experience with HSEQ management systems
• Familiar with legislation, standards and codes applicable to the offshore and marine industries
• Strong focus on safety and performance KPI's
• Experience from classing, surveys and vessel certification
