Job summary

As part of a dedicated team of Talent Supply Chain (TSC) Managers in Cognizant, both onsite and offshore, you will work closely with our business units to provide proactive and professional staffing. You will validate and process demands, ensure internal fulfillments and redeployments to match the business growth, and actively be involved in workforce planning for Cognizant in the Nordics. 

The role covers all aspects of the resourcing cycle; from building relationships with hiring managers, preparing metrics driven reports for senior leadership and managing employees on our internal pools, to having end-to-end focus in providing systematic career guidance and finding the next assignment for our available employees. 

This is a role in a constantly changing and fast-paced organization, reporting to the TSC Lead for Continental Europe. You will connect to internal stakeholders from all our departments: Local delivery and commercial leaders, onsite & offshore TSC teams, Human Resources, the Talent Acquisition Group, Learning & Development, Operation Excellence teams, and ultimately - in in terms of staffing available resources - all employees in Nordics.

Main responsibilities

Your main responsibility will be to ensure a professional and efficient internal talent market within Cognizant in the Nordics, achieving high internal fill-rates on open positions. This is good for the business and also good for our individual employees in Cognizant.

As our Workforce Manager you will also be responsible for implementing and monitoring our TSC processes and guidelines, and proactively advice, influence, challenge, and guide team leaders and managers on different aspects of resource management and the workforce implications on their business decisions.

Other tasks in the role will be to:

  • manage deployments & placements of employees in our pools and placing them into the right projects,
  • work with the delivery managers in our Nordic business units to facilitate end-to-end staffing search & match employees' CV against available roles within each business unit and/or country,
  • work with managers and recruiters to ensure staffing the right talent at right timeadvising the business of the best staffing solution for their demands,
  • preparing workforce management reports for the leadership team, highlighting key parameters like headcount growth, employee utilization, open demand, and employee placements through internal organizational channels,
  • manage internal job posting and facilitate end to end interviews process with hiring managers,
  • work closely & collaborating with other corporate function teams,
  • championing proactive resourcing models that’s fits in the Nordics,
  • communicate and coordinate the information flow/submission to business teams, and ensure it is in compliant with TSC policies & process.

Your preferred background and our skill requirements:

  • At least 2 year of relevent experience in resource management/workforce management or in-house IT recruitment.
  • Very strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and teamwork skills.
  • Good understanding of IT industry and able to understand the technical skills that are needed to plan the fulfillment.
  • Language requirements: English and Norwegian/Nordic language - written and spoken - is a must.
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Human resources or related field needed.
