We are looking for a self-driven senior risk specialist for our Market and Liquidity risk team who will take on a professional responsibility for liquidity risk in the bank. Have you performed regulatory liquidity and capital reports in the past and want to take a step forward and understand the why? Or have you worked with variable risk management, treasury or capital topics but want to grow and specialize? We seek a person who has experience with regulatory requirements for banks, while being digitally savvy. You will learn a lot about liquidity risk, see the link between financial markets and the bank, and further develop your project management and technical skills. You will work extensively with other departments, such as Treasury and Capital Markets as well as the parent company in Madrid, having English as a working language.

The Market and Liquidity risk team is part of the Risk department, an essential part of the bank with over 150 employees with a diverse professional and cultural background. The team currently consists of four people and is responsible for liquidity risk, interest rate risk and currency risk in the bank across Norway, Denmark, Sweden and Finland, monitoring of the financial markets, as well as analysis and reporting to investors on the bank's securitization programs. You will take on the unique role of liquidity risk expert and, being part of the team, will inevitably learn about other market risk disciplines and how they are all interconnected.

Main responsibilities

• Have overall responsibility for liquidity risk in the bank across Nordics with focus on regulatory requirements (BIS / CRD IV / Norwegian FSA)
• Automating and improving external and internal reporting processes by rebuilding the "architecture" in reports and using data from databases and the Murex front system in a more efficient way
• Further develop parameterization of stress test for liquidity based on market analysis
• Keep up with developments in the market and connect this to the bank's risk exposure
• Assist and support the team on the internal and external reporting, to the financial authorities and the headquarter in Madrid

Your qualifications and experience

• Higher education, preferably at master's level within finance, economics, statistics or similar with good results
• 5+ years experience in a relevant role from bank, consulting or FSA
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Norwegian or any other Scandinavian language
• Advanced skills in Excel and knowledge of VBA
