Corporate Finance Analyst

Aker Energy holds a 50 percent participating interest in the Deepwater Tano Cape Three Points block in Ghana, and is the operator of the block. Aker Energy sees numerous opportunities in the DWT/CTP block, and is starting with development of the Pecan field. Aker Energy is currently developing the funding plan for the company and is looking to strengthen the team with a Corporate Finance Analyst in this regard. The role will take an active part in the processes related to debt and equity financing of the company. This will include performing financial analysis and making presentation material towards the Management team in Aker Energy and towards Aker ASA / TRG.

Responsibilities and tasks:

Responsibilities and tasks include but are not limited to:

• Perform broad spectre of financial analysis related to funding of Aker Energy (both debt and equity)
• Perform portfolio and asset valuation
• Financial modelling and development of excel tools
• Prepare presentation material to external and internal stakeholders
• Credit analysis including calculation of debt capacity and review of loan agreements
• Perform other tasks related to the treasury function in Aker Energy

Qualifications & personal attributes:

• Master's degree in Business, Finance and/or Engineering with strong academic results
• 2-4 years' experience from banking, management consulting or E&P
• Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong financial modelling capabilities
• Experience in asset and portfolio valuation
• Understanding of debt instruments and basic credit metrics
• Experience from the oil and gas sector (ideally E&P)
