Information Architect

Information Architect is accountable for the requirements definition and designof long-term, sustainable information related solutions to ensure theinformation solutions align with the overall solution architecture (includingbusiness and technology).

Information Architect determines overall modelingstandards, guidelines, best practices, and approved modeling techniques andapproaches. This role will oversee the documentation of all architecture designand analysis work to ensure the enterprise information requirements coveringall defined information domains is represented. The role will provide directionand coordination for the data modeling staff including related databaseadministration capabilities. Information Architect will work with all business areas to reach resolutionon information related matters.

This position is located in Stavanger, but Trondheim and Oslo could be considered.

Duties and responsibilities

• Member of the Data & Information Management Architecture team.
• Be overall responsiblefor the enterprise information architecture.
• Be subject matter expert oninformation architecture, master data, ontologies and related topics.
• Promote,execute and coordinate enterprise information architecture initiatives.
• Develop,implement and maintain information architectures and -ontologies.
• Own and managethe company's information catalog.
• Provide information architecture support toimprovement projects, BU's and digitalization initiatives through own effortand hire-ins.
• Responsible for information architecture governance and relatedwork processes in Aker BP System.
  

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, Physics, Statistics, or related quantitative ?eld required.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience. 
• Proven work experience as Information Architect, Data Architect , Data Modeler as well as Solution Architect. 
• ERP experience.  
• Extensive experiences with significant focus on enterprise and/or information architecture.
• Work experience from consultancy would be considered an advantage.
• Experienceworking with information models, semantic modeling, master data management,architecture governance and other related topics.

• business rules and build/own a repository for the same
• EIM/MDM related industry trends and best practices.
• Master Data Management (MDM) concepts, models and eventually will lead and/or facilitate (but not have ownership) MDM related activities.
• advanced modeling approaches, tools, and model repositories.
