The most important tasks will be:

• Assist on monthly financial closing process, including ensuring all costs incurred are properly recorded, reviewing journal entries, accruals and provisions, accounts balance reconciliations
• Handle VAT and corporate tax matters
• Prepare and report monthly financials for group reporting under HFM
• Prepare and report yearly IFRS and SASAC financials under HFM
• Capitalize fixed assets in the system, run FA depreciation
• Liaise with Auditors for yearly statutory closing and help prepare the AFS

We want you to have the following qualifications:

• Higher economic education, Business economics, Industrial economics or equivalent
• Qualification as a certified public accountant
• Work experience minimum 5 years in a similar position
• Solid accounting understanding, analytical skills
• Experience working with Hyperion and M3 software is preferable
• Good social skills, high integrity, resourceful and flexible when needed
• Fluently Norwegian and English, writing and orally
• Structured, systematic and responsible
• Self-motivated, effective and decisive
