About Sevan SSP                                         

Sevan SSP is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sembcorp Marine (Singapore) with offices in Oslo, Arendal, Bergen and Houston. Sevan is known for its cylindrical floaters with 11 units built and one under construction. We are growing our team to meet the changing demands of the market place and will strengthen our Hull and Structure team.

The Hull and Structure team covers all aspects related to structure, stability, weight and construction from feasibility evaluations to operational support and integrity services for units in operation. We are heavily involved in  Technology and design development across different market segments. In addition, we support business development and construction of Sevan designed units.

We are looking for recent graduates.

Job Description 

• Structural design and analysis (global analysis and detailed local analysis)
• Cooperate with other disciplines like hydrodynamics and stability
• Participate in concept development and R&D activities
• Develop floating solutions for arctic and harsh environment
• Build relations to technical staff of clients, sub-contractors, Classification Societies and regulators

Your qualifications

• University Degree, MSc in Naval Architecture / Marine Technology
• Interdisciplinary understanding (hydrodynamics, stability, systems)
• Experience with FEM analysis
• Experience with programming
• Norwegian work permit and a place of residence in Norway is a prerequisite
