What you’ll do

At the crossroad between business and technology, you will have a key role in Vimond's sales department with commercial responsibility for maintaining and improving relationships and growing revenue from Vimond’s customers in EMEA. Over time, you will acquire a high degree of competence in Vimond’s products, and you will build deep relationships with customer organizations. You will bring continuity and excellence towards the customer dialogues we have built over the past years.

Responsibilities

  • Identify new opportunities for enhanced use of our products and services. The commercial and technical details will be sorted out in cooperation with other teams at Vimond, but the lead and customer perspective will come from you

  • Influence customer direction and technology choices

  • Work with Vimond management, engineering, operations and support teams to handle customer expectations

  • Work closely with in-house technical teams to make sure commercial proposals are aligned with estimates and delivery plans

  • Deliver on budget, profitability and other key metrics

  • Cooperate closely with our finance team on invoicing and other financial items

 

Qualifications

  • 4-6 years of experience in a similar role. Applicants with less experience will be evaluated if they have other relevant experience

  • Commercial or relevant technical background

  • Understanding of and interest for software development, streaming technologies, OTT broadcast technology and editorial workflows is a big plus

  • Fluency in English, both oral and written

  • Ability to travel

  • Located in or willing to move to Bergen, Norway
