Process Engineer - Shaping the future of energy

For a long term assignment we are looking for an experienced Engineer for our customer who is a major oil company.

You will be a part of the Operation Technology department who provides technical operations support across operation regions and into the new field developments on the Norwegian shelf. They contribute to safe, effective and sustainable operation, maintenance modifications and decommissioning of installations. They contribute heavily in shaping the future of energy and realizing the potential of the Norwegian continental shelf.  They maintain the overall technical integrity of installations and are responsible for supporting plant integrity, projects and the newly established integrated opration center.

Tasks

• Solve process technical tasks and provide solutions for operations, plant integrity or projects.
• Actively contribute to experience transfer in the sector and in customer’s internal network
• Provide technical support within process technology

Qualifications

• Process technology background with good technical understanding within system and equipment design.
• Experience in engineering, design, commissioning, maintenance and/or modification of process equipment and systems.
• Experience in scoping of and performing process simulations in Unisim or Hysys.
• Good knowledge of current standards and regulatory requirements
• It is an advantage to have operational and/or project experience
