Product Manufacturing Managers - Kongsberg

For one of our clients within the oil & Gas markied we are seeking Product Manufacturing Managers

Start up: As soon as possible

Duration: 9-12 months with possible extencions

Department: Product Manufacturing Admin Well Control

Location: Kongsberg

1. Responsibility:

• Accountable for all work to fulfil contractual obligations within project budgets and schedules related to the respective work packages.
• Lead the resources allocated to, and supporting the work package team.
• Responsible for implementing and administering project and company policies and procedures in order to successfully achieve project objectives.
• Act independently on assigned projects and work tasks.
• Accountable for promoting the HSE and quality mindset as well as commercial awareness.
• Continuously encourage and support team to achieve project objectives.
  
  

2. Authority:

• Authority on behalf of the System Project Manager to initiate work and/or initiate variation requests to the contract scope of work, related to the respective work packages.
• Financial authority as per the project specific project charter and regional guidelines.
• Act as the company’s representative and single point of contact towards customer on sub-system and product matters.
  
  

3. Capable of filling the following roles/main tasks:

Initiate project

• Mobilize the project in compliance with the mobilization schedule.
• Establish the project team in cooperation with resource owners.
• Ensure a proper contract Review.  Confirm understanding of, and implement all requirements, specifications and clarifications of the contract.

Planning

• Ensure product schedule is established, implemented and maintained.
• Ensure that work package budget is established.

Project execution

• Perform risk management.
• Monitor and control project work and verify scope.
• Manage project variations and changes.
• Report internally and externally on a regular basis.
• Communicate with stakeholders.

Project close-out

• Ensure proper close-out and handover of work package.

Project team management

• Organize project team according to TechnipFMC processes, and clarify roles and responsibilities.
• Lead project team including HSE, quality, schedule, risk and cost.
• Create an environment for motivating the project team through communication, making decisions and delegating.
  
  

4. Job knowledge

• Able to manage medium projects with low complexity.
• Works with others on the project team to develop technical/functional solutions to achieve strategic project objectives.
• Lead team in resolving difficult technical issues that require extensive knowledge related to technical/functional project field.
• Solves varied, but straightforward problems, analysing and selecting the most optimal solutions.
• Understands the impact, influence and importance of the manager role, and how to utilize this to the best of the project.
• Demonstrate compliance with organization standards and expectations.
  
  

5. Technical & Problem solving skills

• Proficient in relevant MS Office applications.
• Learning and developing proficient in scheduling and ERP software.
• Ability to implement product/project execution plans as required by relevant policies and procedures.
• Accurate and pays attention to details.

7. Required formal qualifications / experience

• Recommended formal education: BA/BS degree in related field preferred, or equivalent years of work experience.
• Required experience: Typically 8+ years overall experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
