Material Planner- for subsea company

Due to additional work scope and increasing portfolio our customer needs to increase their capacity and are looking for an experienced Material Planner for their organization.

Main tasks

• Capable of creating and maintaining purchase requisitions.
• Create and maintain material and BOM master data in ERP software.
• Support SAP material and planning related to data maintenance.
• Analyze MRP and release requisitions according to TFMC procedures and work practices.
• Establish and maintain internal material plans for delivery projects, service orders and production orders.
• Prepare internal material plan reports as necessary.
• Ensure that the material plan status is effectively communicated to the project team and / or other internal customers.
• Assure, together with Project Planner and Buyer, correct dates as input to MRP.
• Continuously contribute to correct information as a basis for high quality outputs.
• Maintain material master data to ensure inventory and supply optimization.
• Propose and contribute to implementing process improvements related to material, project and production planning.
• Support and advise; Engineering in areas related to sub contract fabrication and procurement and in areas related to material planning and in- house production.
• Procurement in areas related to material planning for purchased parts.
• Support and advise engineering and supply chain in MRP and logistic related issues.
  
  

Qualifications

• Relevant Bachelor`s degree with minimum 3 years relevant experience.
• Experience can compensate for lack of formal competency.
• Good understanding of the project execution and production processes.
• Safety and quality minded.
• Service-minded and good cooperation skills.
• Ability to target results and contribute to a positive team spirit.
• Good oral and written presentation skills in English and Norwegian
• Experience from the offshore industry, preferably within subsea systems.
• Ability to work systematically and independently in a hectic environment.
• Software such as SAP, ProArc relevant SAP modules and standard MS Office.
