For one of our clients within the oil and gas field we are seeking:
Product Project Planner
Start up: As soon as possible
Location: Kongsberg
Duration: 6 months
Rate: Pay level about 600.000,- NOK yearly

About the position:

Product planning is a key aspect to be able to perform excellent project execution. To fulfil our obligations, we now need to expand our group to cover new projects.
Through sequencing, prioritization and mitigation you will influence the project performance on a daily basis.
You will be working closely with the Project Manager and Lead Engineer.
You will have the overall responsibility to create, maintain and eventually close project schedules.
A Product Project Planner will be working mostly in Primavera (P6), but also need to be skilled using various SAP transactions and the standard Microsoft Office applications.

Job Scope and authorities:

• As a Product Project Planner you have authority to act on behalf of the Product Project Manager in all areas of planning internally.
• Consolidate and analyze information from our Project Planner, Project Engineering, Purchasing and Manufacturing/Sub-Suppliers in order to establish the schedule for assigned projects in accordance with standard planning methods.
• Ensure that schedules are updated on a regular basis based on input from the supply chain, engineering, manufacturing constraints and changes when required.
• Prepare internal work package/product reports
• Analyze the plan/schedule and initiate mitigation actions when needed
• Review and participate in preparation of variation order requests, and implement accepted variation orders with regards to the schedule at hand.
• Ensures that the product status is effectively communicated to the Product Project Manager, Project Planner and other relevant stakeholders.
• Participates and gives input to project schedules for Tender purposes.
• Based on the plan, support engineers establish and update dates in MDR
• Coordinate planning regarding clients and subcontractors

Requirements:

• Motivated, self-going and cooperative
• Good communication skills in English written and verbal
• Understanding of project management essentials
• Capable of leading meetings regarding schedules
• Technical and / or commercial education BSc. Similar or higher education is preferable but relevant experience may compensate
• Good knowledge with primavera is preferable
• Good skills in Excel, Microsoft Project and PowerPoint
