Arbeidsoppgaver

The main purpose of the position is to assist and be part of the team led by the Senior Business Controller, in the day-to-day business controller tasks relating to all assets and inventory in the department.

active member of the controller team, including working with Master Data Managers
asset balance monitoring and periodic close reviews and trend analyses for the assets, capitalized additions, retirements, scrapping, depreciation and impairment
maintaining cost standards
assist in the designing and performing adequate internal controls to ensure correct recorded balances for all stocks and inventories
periodic reviews with external auditors, Financial Accounting & Reporting Organization
ad-hoc tasks

Ønskede kvalifikasjoner

financial or alternative Business degree strongly preferred (Masters or Bachelor level), and with relevant controller or other financial experience.
experience in financial or controller positions including experience with financial analysis, performance improvement projects and reporting.
analytical mindset and effectively filter large volumes of information.
ability to deliver accurate and time relevant financial analysis and presentations.
general business controller competence, including decision support and ability to effectively report financial consequences of operative decision alternatives.
solid working knowledge and awareness of generally accepted accounting principles (IFRS).
business language is English, requiring good English communications skills.
