We are looking for a structured, team oriented coordinator, with experience from replying to inquiries for an international organisation.
The Identity Coordinator will take lead on request handling in our identity help center, coordinate the development of our branding, writing and design guidelines and tools. The position holder will support with planning and coordinating of trainings and other activities related to branding, writing and design. In addition the coordinator will be doing editorial work including writing and editing, and build and maintain a pool of external freelancers.
The Identity Coordinator is placed in the Identity Unit. This unit is responsible for developing NRCs identity including our brand book and style guide, train staff in language and visual communication, monitor the use of language and visual principles and advise throughout the organisation.
The role implies;
. Reply to inquiries from NRC staff and external consultants on brand, design and writing matters.
. Coordinate work with expansion of brand guidelines and products package
. Provide administrative support to the identity unit
. Plan, coordinate and hold trainings at head office and globally
. Contribute to creating content for trainings
. Write, edit and publish stories for NRC's websites
. Text production for communication products
. Editing and proof reading of English text
. Provide support on events and with visibility items
. Responsible for building and maintaining freelancer database (up to date contact information, GDPR compliance, tasks, billing and more)
Who are you?
In order to succeed in this role, we need you to be fluent in English and have good writing and editing skills. Fluency in Norwegian is also preferable. You have digital competence, and you are service minded, systematic and structured. Experience from working within a larger organisation or company is preferred. We further believe you have a minimum of 2 years' working experience in a coordinator function. You have documented experience from project planning and execution. You are driven by a sense of purpose and can relate to our mission to deliver high-quality aid where needs are greatest.
