Insulation Engineer

Aker Solutions has recently secured new long-term contracts on the Norwegian Continental Shelf, and the project portfolio in Stavanger is rapidly expanding. We are now recruiting several new employees to strengthen our teams and prepare for future growth.

We are now looking for a Insulation Engineer in Egersund.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate the Insulation discipline
• Coordinate that vendor materials and installation activities are in accordance with applicable requirements
• Prepare and coordinate work packages
• Prepare and coordinate material take-offs/material administration
• Liaison with other disciplines, both within engineering and construction

Qualifications:

• Relevant technical education (BSc/Technical college) or Certificate of apprenticeship within Insulation
• Minimum 5-10 years of relevant experience from the Energy industry
• Multi-discipline skills within ISO disciplines is preferable
• Knowledge and experience from MIPS/PDMS applications is an advantage
• Good communication skills in Norwegian and English, both written and verbally
• Team player with good cooperation skills
