At TechnipFMC MPM we are designing, manufacturing and testing state of the art multiphase - and wetgas flow meters for the global oil and gas industry. The flowmeters (MPM HighPerformanceFlowmeters) are today in operation in all environments and are measuring the most vaualble asset of the same oil- and gas companies. We are experiencing a continuous increased demand for our line of MPM meters.

We are looking for a candidate to be part of the MPM team in Controls and Automation group. The candidate will have responsibility for instrument project engineering in projects and tender activities.Job description

Responsible for the instrument project engineering and products according to project specific specifications and engineering standards according to our Global Business Process Management System Role and responsibilities
Authority to act on behalf of the Engineering Manager, in all areas regarding project specific technical solutions related to instrument engineering in assigned projects
Agree on technical solutions with customers and suppliers
Participate in direct discussions with customers and suppliers
Location is Forus, Stavanger

You are meant for this job if

Good general knowledge of flow measurements and it's requirements
Good knowledge of general instrumentation use in oil and gas industry
Capable of solving technical issues
Capable of leading engineering work
Capable of leading technical meetings internally and with suppliers
Capable of supporting technical negotiations with suppliers
Capable of working in projects
Minimum 1 years of relevant experience from mechanical engineering, materials and welding
