Business Controller MODU - GBS Finance

Odfjell Drilling is looking for a Business Controller to join our GBS Finance MODU team in Bergen. The person we are looking for will need to have experience from relevant senior finance positions.

 Qualifications and experience:

• Master in Business and Economics or Bachelor, preferably within accounts/ audits
• Minimum 3-5 years relevant experience
• Good understanding of the business
• Experience within accounting, year-end close, tax, etc
• Good skills in both Norwegian and English
• Structured, proactive, solution driven, process minded 

Responsibilities:

• Financial control and cost control
• Monthly Reporting Business Units
• Cash flow and Tied up Capital reporting
• Analyses and KPI reporting
• Prepare and coordinate Budgets- and prognosis process (Business Unit level)
• Year End Closing
• Participate in tender work
• Ensure compliance with tax rules and regulations
• Updating procedures related to financial control (when required)
• Any ad hoc financial task

 Key focus areas:

• Contribute to optimize cash flow and working capital requirements on assigned entity(ies)
• Contribute to improved risk management for assigned entity(ies)
• Contribute to increased predictability through increased quality in budgets and forecast
• Contribute to Business Management improvement initiatives
