Main responsibilities and tasks

  • Software programming and development as part of the team
  • Deliver and test software modules within time and spec
  • Programming communication interfaces and tag systems
  • Program interfaces towards maintenance systems
  • Programming of data handling and processing
  • Coordinate with HMI group presentation and manipulation of data
  • Production of relevant documentation

Qualifications & personal attributes

  • Minimum Bachelor degree in computer science
  • Looking for experience in relevant areas, but we will evaluate graduates also.
  • Familiar with .Net, Script languages and HMI systems
  • Familiar with data processing, data bases and distributed systems 
  • Familiar with continuous integration

Preferred qualifications

  • Machine programming in Siemens systems is a plus
  • Machine understanding
  • Maintenance systems
  • Monitoring systems

We are looking for someone who is flexible, a team-player, curious and willing to learn. Fluency in English, both written and oral, is a requirement. Fluency in Norwegian is an advantage.

This is a permanent staff position based at Kristiansand.
