Systems Engineer

Main work task:

• System construction, quality control, configuration and formal testing
• Form part of the team that will perform the installation, commissioning, system tuning and formal testing/evaluation of the system with customers (AVINOR), being heavily involved in the following tasks:
• Support HMI configuration
• Support the customer to define scenarios, use cases and exercises preparation that they may wish to test in the new system
• Support the customer to define the new adaptation data and airspace changes in Adaptation data
• Support the customer on the specification of changes to be implemented in Future ATM System including lower airspace
• Support at the customer premises the integration testing, validation and maintenance of a SW system to be performed by other members of the contractor team
• Technical validation of the system with the final client
• Analysis of system issues and follow-up of problem resolution
• Interaction with the factory technical team at all project stages and during guarantee.
• Managing customer requirements and develop / validate the technical project specifications, testing and system documentation.

Required qualifications:

• Honours Degree level in Engineering (B.Sc) in electronics / computer / avionics / radar technology / telecommunications, or equivalent
• Experienced with Linux and basic programming skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a global team when required
• Resilient with the ability to manage a heavy workload and sometimes conflicting priorities and tight deadlines
• Excellent team worker
• Strong collaborative behaviours around Communication, Culture, Change, Share and Goals
• Self-motivated with the ability to see innovative solutions to problems and the enthusiasm to drive them to a successful conclusion.
• Willing to learn new concepts and methodologies
• Excellent Norwegian language, written and spoken
• English at least B2 level
• Availability to travel to Spain and UK (periods up to 2 months approx.)

Other desirable qualifications:

• System knowledge in ATC systems
• Previous experience on User Requirement Analysis and System Requirements Definition and corresponding tools (i.e. DOORS, Synergy, etc)
• Knowledge of software development methodologies (Waterfall, V-Model, Agile, Scrum, etc)
• Spanish language
