Hansen Technologies is currently looking for a Senior Cloud Architect to join the team and lead our analytics team to a new technological level! HansenCX believes in providing the best energy analytics service to its customers with a focus on agility and on services with a great cost/benefit ratio.

The successful Senior Cloud Architect will be working in a combination of energy domain expertise and cloud development competences within the team. The Senior Cloud Architect will be based in our Espoo office with infrequent travel requirements and will be reporting to the Chief Architect.

We expect strong leadership qualities, as well as significant breadth in experience and understanding of various technologies and architectural patterns. You will be responsible for the development of the overall vision that underlies the projected solution and transformation of that vision into the solution.


Job Responsibilities:

• Direct and contribute to the functional solution of Hansen Technologies products whilst working in cooperation with other colleagues and teams.
• Provide overall software governance and direction to enable a robust, scalable, flexible and predictable service to our customers.
• Participate in service and software development activities, from design to development including reviews whenever needed.
• Maintain a good understanding of applicable technological developments, trends and products.
• Ensure continuous communication of relevant technical information to and from the cloud team.
• Lead the service's technological maturity, service efficiency, security and innovation to the next level.
• Prototype new techniques and methodologies when required.
• Maintain the service up to and beyond relevant information security, fiscal prudency, and reliability standards.
  
  

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proficient in software development. Keywords: Docker, Linux, Git, Jenkins, Python, C#, AWS, Cloud, REST.
• Demonstrate high level of proactiveness and taking responsibility
• Knowledge of event driven and evolutionary architecture
• Knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment.
• Strong communication, analysis, and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated leadership skills and business savvy
• Agile experience.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Understanding of microservices
• Ideally hands on experience with Amazon Web Services.
• Ideally have knowledge and understanding of cloud computing and Cloud-Native Application Design and Architecture.
