Lead Information Manager

We are hiring!

This position will report to the Senior Vice President, Technical and Concepts.

Duties

• Lead the project document control department for projects and operations;
• Coordinate the different document control departments internally, (i.e. site document control) and report and guide document control externally (i.e. document control at the different suppliers);
• Lead the IFS document management module and contribute in work related to upgrades;
• Perform quality checks on documentation with regards to non-technical contents and references;
• Create and maintain work instructions for IFS document management module;
• Perform user training in IFS document management module;
• Follow up and process internal document flow and between contractors, clients and authority class;
• Participate in IFS super-user meetings;
• Initiate and participate in audits on contractors;
• Ensure alignment with industry standards and other Company requirements;
• Create and maintain project document control procedures/processes in line with the Company management system;
• Ensure that Supplier Document Requirement List (SDRL) is correct and ready to issue to suppliers;
• Ensure that SMDL from suppliers is correct with regards to metadata from the documentation and numbering specification and ready for import to IFS;
• Ensure that incoming and company documentation is available in IFS for the project team;
• Ensure that (Documents for Operations) DFO documents are available in (Document Management System) DMS for operations department;
• Be familiar with the management system structure and content, and have specific knowledge regarding requirements, responsibilities, processes (working methods) and other management system information applicable to the position.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience from similar development project;
• Experience with IFS, particularly the document management module;
• Good understanding and knowledge of the technical, contractual and commercial issues related to design and engineering is a benefit;
• Knowledge of engineering numbering system principals and functions;
• Proficiency in English, written and verbal.
