Aker Solutions’ Subsea Project Planning team, based in Fornebu, is responsible for proactive time management and forecasting of subsea production system deliverables. The Planning, Change, Risk, Weight and Estimation department is organised under Engineering & Project Management Resources in the Projects Delivery Centre.

Due to increased workload and expansion, we are looking for an experienced Senior Project Planner. You will be part of the planning discipline responsible for developing and maintaining high quality project schedules in cooperation with Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Engineering teams located in Norway and around the world. We provide relevant information to project management teams ensuring quick decision making which is essential to delivering the project on time.

Responsibilities and Tasks:

• Actively participate in planning, analysing, forecasting and prioritising of execution at all stages
• Establish work-breakdown structure in SAP and Primavera in accordance with procedures
• Monitor engineering, procurement and construction activities
• Report progress and ensure performance of required planning activities with execution of our tenders and projects
• Highlight and comment on irregularities and criticalities and help developing corrective actions
• Assist in change analysis
• Establish recovery plans, if and when necessary
• Follow project execution model
• Actively support improvement initiatives within the project and company

Qualifications and Personal Qualities:

• Minimum Bachelor's degree within Engineering or Business
• Minimum 5 years' experience within project planning
• SAP, Primavera or Safran experience preferred
• Subsea project or product experience preferred
• Analytical, structured and strong ability to handle complexity
• Proven experience from large and complex subsea or topside projects with many stakeholders
• Experience working in a multiple discipline environment
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Fluent English
