Experienced Project Manager

Due to increased activity, Swire Seabed requires an additional experienced Project Manager to lead projects related to Survey, IMR, or similar subsea operations.

Due to the nature of the 24/7 industry and likely time zone complications inherent in global operations, non-standard workhours must be expected.  Candidates must be willing and able to travel internationally.

Qualifications

• Preferable 5 years of Project Management experience within the maritime, subsea, or oil & gas industries.  The complexity of project experience will be weighted highly in the assessment of candidates
• Preferably 5 years of hands-on experience with offshore ROV operations, subsea survey, or a relevant engineering field
• Preferred B.Sc. or M.Sc. University level education in a relevant field (extensive experience can compensate for lack of formal competency)
• PMP certification (or other internationally recognized project management qualification) is preferred
• Excellent written and verbal English skills.

Job description:

Tasks include, but are not limited to:

• Management of projects during the planning, execution and deliverable phase
• Coordinate all internal resources, third parties, and vendors during the planning and execution of offshore operations
• Oversee a comprehensive project risk management process to minimize and control the project operational HSE and commercial risks
• Measurement and monitoring of project performance using appropriate tools and techniques to ensure the project meets its short and long term quality and budgetary performance targets 
• Remain flexible in order to adapt to changes in the working environment
• Manage project communications and the relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with clients.
