Aker Solutions has recently secured new long-term contracts on the Norwegian Continental Shelf, and the project portfolio in Stavanger is rapidly expanding. We are now recruiting several new employees to strengthen our teams and prepare for future growth.

Aker Solutions Process department based in Stavanger consists of 45 highly qualified Process engineers. The engineers are involved in a wide variety of projects ranging from smaller Front End Studies to Major Modification Projects and various Specialist Services.

We are now looking for several Senior Process Engineers who can strengthen our team. 

Responsibilities:

• Participate in engineering projects with varied tasks and responsibilities such as system design, development of P&IDs/PFDs/UFDs, dimensioning of equipment (pipes, valves and process equipment), simulations (steady state and dynamic), engineering registers, writing of study reports, involvement in HAZOP, design review, process safety, surveys, flow assurance, fire integrity and flare design
• Contribute to the development of methodology, tools and competence within the Process discipline
• Develop, update and establish philosophies, design basis etc. 

Qualifications:

• Minimum 7 years of Oil and Gas industry experience, preferably in Norway
• BSc or MSc in engineering or equivalent disciplineKnowledge of relevant legislation and standards
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to take initiative and to be flexible
• Fluency in Norwegian and English - verbally and orally
