We seek experienced Senior Package Responsible Engineer (PRE)

Aker Solutions has recently secured new long-term contracts on the Norwegian Continental Shelf, and the project portfolio in Bergen is rapidly expanding. We are now recruiting several new employees to strengthen our teams and prepare for future growth.

Aker Solutions Mechanical department based in Bergen consists of over 14 highly qualified Mechanical engineers. The engineers are involved in a wide variety of projects ranging from smaller Front End Studies to Major Modification Projects and various Specialist Services.

We now have an opening for  position as Senior Package Responsible Engineer (PRE) in Aker Solutions Bergen.

 Responsibilities and tasks:

• Work as PRE on procurement packages for mechanical / various equipment like flexi bumpers, emergency showers, spring supports, flare tip, oil demister, coarse and fine filters
• Compile and clearly define the technical scope of work in Technical Requisitions & Specifications for Inquiry and Purchase Order
• Perform Technical Pre-order, Follow Up and Close Out Activities for project deliveries of permanent and temporary equipment
• Perform verification and approval of Supplier Documents and Drawings

Qualifications & personal attributes:

• Bachelor of Science /Master of Science
• Experience as Package Responsible Engineer or experience as “Package Responsible Discipline Engineer” for similar type of equipment
• Software Skills: TIME, STID
• Language Skills: Written and Oral Norwegian and English 
• Knowledge of Equinor Technical Requierments (TR)
