Piping Engineer

Duties and responsibilities

• Prepare documentation for procurement, prefabrication and installation
  

  Quality check of discipline deliverables
  

  Follow-up of equipment deliveries
  

  Possible carry out offshore field survey
  

  Close cooperation with other disciplines and suppliers (project dependencies)
  

  Assist project management within time and cost estimation of projects

   

Qualifications

 Good knowledge and experience with PDMS/E3D

Knowledge of design code ASME B31.3 and general piping requirements

Experience with execution of projects & studies

Multidiscipline approach will be an advantage

Good knowledge of relevant technical and professional requirements and NORSOK

Experience with database tools is an advantage (IFS, SAP, STID, ProCoSys) 

Lack of education can be compensated with extensive and relevant experience

Personal qualities

Good communication and cooperation skills

Good Norwegian and English skills, both written and spoken

Have the ability to work independently and in a team

Proactive, focused and dedicated towards project goals.

Familiar with prevailing regulations 

Safety oriented  

Concerned with multidiscipline problems
