New Manager of QM in small company

You will manage and maintain the company’s quality management system and support the company management to ensure development, implementation and monitoring of goals, objectives, policies, procedures and systems pertaining to the QA/QC within the company. Work place Rud, Norway.

Duties and responsibilities:  

• Maintain and improve the company’s Quality Management Systems according to ISO 9001:2015 and all related standards and policies into compliance with the management system requirements
• Work with Procurement department to establish quality requirements for external suppliers
• Review and advise in regards of quality aspects in processes and procedures
• Follow up and provide support in the NCRs system. Experience with TQM will be valued
• Monitor performance by gathering relevant data and produce statistical reports
• Responsible for HSE
• Identify relevant quality-related training needs and ensure delivery of training
• Execute, follow up and manage Internal and External audits
• Liaise with customers’ auditors and ensuring the execution of preventive and corrective actions and compliance with customers’ specifications
• Participate in external delivery projects and deliver quality related documents/procedures to the projects
• Implement LEAN routines into the Quality Management System
• Perform incoming inspection
• Ensure control and calibration of measuring equipment
• Follow up on ATEX related processes

Qualifications:

• Minimum Bachelor degree in Mechanics/Mechatronics or other related fields
• Experience from establishing and/or maintaining a Quality Management System, and preferably understanding of LEAN principles (e.g. 6 Sigma)
• Experience in auditing; internal and external. ISO 9001 Lead Auditor preferred
• Min 2 years’ experience in mechanical engineering
• Good understanding of international standards
