Aker Solutions' Project Engineering Service team based in Fornebu is responsible to provide specialist services to Projects and Product segment in Oslo area. This department consists of highly qualified discipline resources within Supplier Package Follow-up, Quality Surveillance, Maintenance & Operability, Construction/Hook-up and Commissioning, LCI and DCC. 

We need an experienced and motivated engineer who can strengthen our team within Completion Subsea and support our ambitious growth plans within the Oil and Gas Service Market.

We are now looking for an MC Coordinator to join one of our ongoing Subsea Projects in Tranby

Responsibilities and Tasks:

• Follow PEM principles for Project Management Execution
• Cooperate closely with System Engineering on tagging philosophy to ensure correct MC scope
• Work closely with Supply Chain to ensure that MC requirements are included in applicable POs towards Suppliers and in-house manufacturing
• Define an MC strategy together with QS with regards to follow-up of MC requirements towards critical suppliers
• Advise in planning of kick-off meetings with critical suppliers to agree on MC strategy
• Coordinate MC activities in the region and on the relevant sites in the project
• Ensure that inspections comply with the Project MC Manual (strategy) and the procedures
• Ensure correct MC status of SIT equipment within MC scope
• Participate in handover from SIT to the relevant region after testing and ensure follow up of potential outstanding SIT punches
• If required, participate in final inspections and documentation reviews with the client as part of the handover process
• Generate completion certificates to the client according to project requirements

Qualifications and Personal Qualities:

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline
• Minimum 5 years` experience of working with subsea manufacturing processes and assembly
• Good understanding of project execution, engineering and construction practices
• Excellent communication skills in English (both orally and in writing) is required to function effectively within the project team and to communicate with project management, contractors and subcontractors
• A keen interest in subsea technology
• Enjoys working in a multicultural team
• Self-motivated and able to inspire other team members in a hectic work environment
