HSE Manager

We are seeking an innovative HSE Manager for our factory in Halden, currently under construction. Is that you?

Peterson Packaging has a strong focus on Health, Environment and Safety (HSE) and aims to ensure  operational and project executions to be executed with zero damages to both personnel as well as the environment. We are therefore looking for an HSE Manager that will create continuous and lasting HSE improvements, as well as promoting a proactive HSE culture in a modern industrial environment. 

Responsibilities

• Responsible for HSE on the construction site
• Ensure HSE guidelines are followed throughout the installation of machines and equipment in the factory
• Ensure overall HSE compliance in accordance with regulatory guidelines, as well as corporate policies and procedures
• Ensure HSE routines are followed correctly from the point of implementation
• Ensure all personnel are trained and coached in HSE procedures
• Evaluate, introduce and report HSE routines, as well as benchmark these against the Group's other factories

Qualifications

• You have experience with HSE from either a factory, production or a construction site
• You are analytical and thrives in a production environment
• You are a problem solver and like to work out "best practice"
• You are motivated and get energized by working with HSE
• You have experience from the machine and process industry
• You are tenacious and strong in your communication, good at organizing as well as a person that takes responsibility
