We think that the power market has both the amount of data and complexity to remain interesting for IT graduates for years to come.     Backend:     As part of our team, your main focus will be:    
  • Develop systems in the cloud for processing and storing vast amounts of data.  
  • Close interaction with our quantitative analysis team that builds analytical- and machine learning models on the platform you will help shape and take to the next level.  
  • Build tools to help enable a higher degree of automation in our business processes, in particular on areas such as data collection and data availability surveillance.  
  • Build APIs to expose our data to clients and build tooling to manage our systems and data.  
  Who are you:  
  • You have/or will soon have a relevant university degree.  
  • You have some development experience in Java or Python from your studies or work.  
  • You have interest in working on cloud technologies - we are using Google Cloud Platform and key services from Google's offering.  
  • You have knowledge about SQL and NoSQL databases. You will meet a variety of data types including time series.  
  • Interest in continuous delivery, Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.  
  Frontend:    
  • As part of our team, your main focus will be:  
  • Develop new web applications and new features to enable our clients to visualize and analyse our data.  
  • Work together with UI/UX design and take an active role on defining how the applications should look and work  
  • Close interaction with our analyst team to help shape new products or new features  
  • Collaborate with the rest of the team locally and in other offices, but take ownership of tasks with the "Operate what you build" mindset  
  Who are you:    
  • You have/or will soon have a relevant university degree.  
  • Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3  
  • Proficient understanding of JavaScript and ReactJS  
  • Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS  
  • Experience with code versioning tools, such as Git  
  • Open-minded to learn new technologies, approaches and frameworks  
  • Have good English skills (spoken and written)
