Liability Broker

We are now hiring a liabilty broker for our Oslo office.

In this position you will manage a broad client spectrum; clients can vary from global large Norwegian based companies to Norwegian based Financial Institutions, Consulting firms and industrial companies. 

Main responsibilities

In this role you will

• Work with broking of liability insurances for Aon clients; including General & Products Liability, Directors & Officers, Crime and Professional Liability.
• Provide advisory services to clients in respect of liability insurances.
• Have a broad client base over all sectors and size from local companies to multinational industrial companies with HQ in Norway.
• Contribute to sales activity of Aon Norway together with dedicated Sales Executives and Account Executives.
• Build up relationship with the main local and Nordic insurance companies and underwriters.
• Have responsibility for a product portfolio and broking of portfolios of insurance.
• Collect and analyze insurance portfolio data and claims.
• Cooperate with Nordic and London broking specialists.

About you

Experience and qualifications required:

• A degree in Economics or Law.
• Alternative relevant experience within insurance or finance.
• Having a good understanding of general principles of contracts, possess the ability to review and comment contracts concerning liability clauses and liability insurance.
• Having a general understanding of the main principles of 'Aksjeloven'.
• Understanding and have the ability to review annual reports including profit and loss and balance sheet. Understanding of company structures.
