We are looking for a Valve Engineer

Head Energy is glad to offer the following contract position as Valve Engineer

Job Description:

• Problem solving regarding valves for the Johan Sverdrup P2 topside including valves within supplier packages.
• Ensure implementation of TR2000 requirements (piping specification) and best practice.
• Follow up procurement packages for valves and contribute technically to other procurement packages for valves.
• Keep close contact with the valve group

Education/Experience:

• MSc / BSc with relevant engineering subjects
• Min 10 years of relevant work experience.
• Familiar with valve actuator selection and sizing
• Other competencies or specific expertise necessary for the position are:
  • Knowledge of Company and NORSOK requirements and best practice in valve documentation and demands.
  • Good multidiscipline and interface understanding of oil & gas topside
  • Experience from Detail Engineering

Language:

• Norwegian
• English
