Head Energy is searching for a Piping Engineer

Head Energy is glad to offer the following contract position as Piping Engineer

Job Description:

• Support projects with piping engineering activities, such as e.g.:
  • Piping, valve and material specifications; TR2000
  • Pipe stress-, acoustic fatigue- and vibration evaluations / analysis of piping systems
  • Pipe supports
  • Flange bolt tensioning
  • Hoses and couplings
  • Piping detail standard assemblies
  • Follow-up contractor

Education/Experience:

• Master degree and 8+ years relevant experience OR
• Bachelor degree and 12+ years relevant experience OR
• 2+ years higher education and 16+ years relevant experience OR
• No higher education and 20+ years relevant experience
• Good technical knowledge and experience of piping engineering (Please note that this is a Piping Engineering, not a layout position)
• Flexibility, ability and willingness to travel
• Other competencies or specific expertise necessary for the position are:
  • Familiar with TR2000 and NORSOK requirements and best practices
  • Good multidiscipline and interface understanding of an oil & gas topside
  • Experience from FEED and Detail Engineering project phase

• Good multidiscipline understanding
• Commercial mindset
• Strong HSE focus, in personal behaviour and in consideration of engineering solutions (safety in design)
• Strong team player 
• Local Candidates will be prioritized

• Norwegian
• English
