Our experienced HR Partner will be taking a leave of 7 months and we are urgently looking for someone to take on her tasks for the time between February 1st and August 31st. HR in Leger Uten Grenser is a warm, friendly and highly professional team. We collaborate closely with other departments in Norway, and with our colleagues in other countries. People are key in achieving MSF's social mission. The HR Department in MSF Norway is divided into four teams: Field HR, Office HR, Benchmarking, and Mentoring and Coaching. The HR Partner HQ reports to HR Director and is part of the Office HR team, with primary responsibility to provide HR support to managers and staff in the office in Norway.
 
The MSF HQ Norway currently has around 70 people working in the office, divided between HR, Comms, Fundraising, Program Support, Finance, Facilities and IT.
 
The position is responsible for supporting line managers in the office on all HR matters, throughout the entire employment cycle, and works together with HR partner for fundraisers to ensure HR support to all staff in Norway.

Duties and responsibilities

Provide advise and service to office departments' long term HR development needs, resource planning and organisational change processes. Share best practise in HR matters;
Assists managers in the interpretation of laws (Arbeidsmiljøloven, Ferieloven etc), policies and procedures;
Provide confidential consultation on employee/employer matters;
Lead the annual salary adjustment process for HQ staff;
Administrate Employee surveys and facilitate work shops with the teams;
Plan and coordinate internal trainings for staff in the office;
Policy introduction to new hired office staff;
Key partner for HQ line managers on HR matters, labour law and social security system;
Follow up on work hours, sick leave and vacation time for HQ staff;
Second line support to employees in HR matters;
Support to line managers in recruitment processes to ensure high quality recruitments;
Support in recruitment processes for office staff;
Recruitment administration according to the recruitment policy;
Super user for Webcruiter;
Conduct Job evaluations (Hay system) in collaboration with line managers;
Maintenance of HR office data in HR database;
Update department info on Sharepoint;

Qualifications

Bachelor or master in HR or other relevant field;
Minimum 3 years of experience in similar role in Norway;
Direct experience as HR responsible in recruitment processes, sick leave follow up, employment matters and employee development;
Fluent in Norwegian and English (written and spoken)

We can offer

Full time position, based in Oslo
Salary: NOK 42.646 per month
Contract from February 2019 - End of August 2019
