Senior IT Engineers

Tasks;

The senior IT engineers will be part of our Control & Safety department in ABB Norway. One position will be located in Oslo and one will be located in Bergen. Our customers are mainly within the Oil and Gas industry, but assignments within land based general industry should also be expected.

Based on ABB´s huge product range, we offer integrated solutions where all functions for process control, safety and information are gathered in one system. Our goal is to reduce the distance between process and control rooms, and to make fast, flexible and efficient process plants.

We seek a project engineer who is goal-oriented, cooperative, team-focused, and able to work independently.

The senior project engineer will be involved in sales support, planning, implementation, and commissioning of automation solutions in our projects. The main task is to construct/engineer complete automation solutions for Norwegian Oil & Gas projects on ABB control systems 800xA.

Requirements;

• College/University degree (Bachelor/ Master level) or equivalent in Information technology
• Thorough knowledge of Windows server and Active directory
• Knowledge of network – topology, components and troubleshooting
• Language skills, Norwegian and English: Good written and oral
