Gard is looking for a Risk Management Executive within the Group Risk team. The ideal candidate is analytical and familiar with the latest technology with an ability to work strategically. The Risk Management Executive is expected to develop Gard’s risk management system and to increase the understanding of risk management across our global organization. The right candidate will play an important role in shaping Gard’s future risk management processes.
The Risk Management Executive will be part of the Risk Management team in Group Risk, reporting to the Chief Risk Officer.

Responsibilities:
- Improving the overall risk management processes
- Analyzing current risks and identify potential risks that may affect the company
- Evaluating the company’s handling of risks
- Preparing risk reports tailored to the relevant audiences
- Educating the various stakeholders about the most significant risks to the business; e.g. ensure that heads of business understand the risks that may affect their departments and that individuals understand their own accountability for individual risks
- Assist with establishing business continuity plans to limit risks
SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
A degree in one of the following subjects:
- Finance or Economics
- Management or Business Studies
- Social Sciences
- Engineering
Experience in working with risk management
Fluency in written and spoken English
Personal qualities:
- Excellent quantitative and analytical skills, along with an ability to apply those skills across a variety of business processes
- Very good written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and the ability to see the big picture
- A bold and innovative mind-set with strong professional integrity, willing to go the extra mile
- Interested in continuous learning and personal development
- Strong coordinating, interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to transfer insight to audiences outside of Group Risk
- Self-driven, independent and with the ability to adapt
- A strong team player that can drive cross-functional cooperation and delivery
- An interest in and knowledge of digital tools and how these can contribute to improve Gard's risk management
