Instrument engineer | Stavanger

Work Task:

Preform studies

Estimate studies and projects

Produce new and revise existing documentation and drawings

Produce work packages for installation

Produce deliverables for studies and Front End Loading (FEL) work

Produce documentation for Safety and Automation Systems (SAS)

Discipline check and approval of produced documents and drawings in the project

Order all instrument materials needed for offshore installation

Must be able to understand P&IDs and drawings from different disciplines

Discussions with Client and vendor representatives in order to find optimal technical solutions

Experience:

Minimum 5 years experience from instrument engineering in large modification projects on the Norwegian Continental Shelf

Have good knowledge to laws, standards and norms applicable for the discipline

Have good communication skills in English and Norwegian(preferable) both orally and in writing

Have a cooperative working attitude

Be systematic and accurate

Have a high loyalty to deadline and quality requirements

Have the ability to see multiple design – cases (solution oriented)

Education:

Bachelor or master degree within relevant area
